Client Challenge
The wholesale distributor in Bangkok was looking to expand its home fire safety product range to meet growing residential market demand in Thailand. Previous suppliers had issues with:
- Inconsistent product quality between batches
- Missing RoHS / AS 3786 certification documentation
- Long lead times (60+ days) causing stock-outs
- Limited APP localization — English-only interface unsuitable for Thailand consumers
Wanlin's Solution
Wanlin assigned a dedicated export account manager to the Bangkok client and provided:
1. Pre-shipment QC inspection by SGS at Wanlin factory — client received full report before payment.
2. Complete RoHS / AS 3786 documentation package — accepted by Thailand customs on first submission.
3. Customized packaging with Thailand language instructions and local compliance marks.
4. 4-week delivery via sea freight (FCL) + DHL air for urgent replenishment orders.
5. English + local-language APP — reducing customer support burden for the Bangkok client.
Results After 6 Months
- Zero quality-related returns from end consumers in Thailand
- 93% repeat purchase rate among end users who registered the APP
- Client expanded from 1 SKU to 8 Wanlin product lines
- Second order placed within 3 months — quantity increased by 69%
- Achieved ISO 9001 factory audit acceptance by Thailand insurance partner
